The “RESTORATION” of God’s Contagious Unified body of believers…
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to men, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason; and its words may not be taken for private interpretation. (2 Timothy 3:5-17,1 Peter 1:23-25, 2 Peter 1:20, Hebrews 4:12)
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-reliant, “I AM”, and has further revealed himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association, by simultaneously existing as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
(Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:11, Isaiah 44:24, Phil 3:20, Isaiah 9:6-7, 45:5-6, 45:14; 18; 22, 46:9, 1 Timothy 3:16)
The Grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of the Word of God and the explanation of the simple plan of salvation as taught by the Lord Jesus Christ and presented by the Apostles. Man is saved by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as the scriptures have said; committing himself to the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior, which in typology is a process of scriptural obedience that man must follow: Repentance (death), Baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (burial), and indwelling of the Holy Spirit (resurrection). (Hebrews 2:1-4, Matt 7:13-14, Mark 16:15-18, Luke 24:45-49, Acts 1:8, John 3:1-8, Acts 2:38-39, John 7:38)
All believers should ardently expect and earnestly seek the Promise of the Father, which is the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The initial outward sign that one has been filled with the Holy Spirit is the evidence of them speaking in other tongues (Isaiah 28:11, Joel 2:28, Acts 2:1-21, 38-39, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 19:6). With this infilling of power (Acts 1:8), one is equipped with the anointing for Christian Life and Service, and the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of ministry (Luke 24:49, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31). This experience is essential to the completion of the New Birth. (John 3:1-8, Acts 2:38-39, 1 Corinthians 14:39)
Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, John 5:14)
By the power of the Holy Spirit, we strive to obey the command, “Be ye Holy, for I am Holy.” (1 Peter 1:16). Sanctification is the will of God for all believers and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God’s Word. (Hebrews 12:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, 1 John 2:6) Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and dedication unto God.
The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing in a memorial to His suffering, death, and prophecy of His second coming, and is enjoined to all believers “until He comes”. (John 6:48, 51-58, Luke 22:19-20, 2 Peter 1:4, 1 Corinthians 11:25)
The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the Lord, is imminent and is the blessed hope of the church. (1 Thessalonians 4:16, Romans 6:23, Titus 2:13, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52)
The church is the holy Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the great commission. Each believer is an integral part of the church, and their names are written in the Lamb’s book of Life. (1 Corinthians 12:27-28, Ephesians 4:12-13, Ephesians 2:22-23, Ephesians 5:30)
